STREETEC performance PRO air suspension is built for drivers who want a car that sits low and still corners with a firm, composed feel. Inverted monotube dampers and adjustable uniball top mounts keep the front axle on line even under high cornering loads. When parked, the car can be lowered all the way down and raised back to the approved ride height before you drive off. The complete kit includes dampers and air springs for the front and rear axle and fits the Hyundai i30 N and i30 Fastback N of the PD series.

Rigid dampers for clean turn-in

In an inverted (upside-down) damper the large outer tube sits at the top, so the damper barely flexes under side loads. The car follows your steering input without delay and stays settled through quick sequences of bends. The monotube design keeps damping consistent under load. Front and rear axle receive vehicle-specific shock absorbers matched to the air springs with their vehicle-specific mounts.

Spherical bearings instead of rubber mounts up front

At the front axle, adjustable uniball top mounts replace the factory top mounts. The spherical bearing transfers forces without the compliance of a rubber mount: steering input reaches the wheels directly, and you can feel the road surface and the grip limit more clearly through the steering wheel. The top mounts are listed as a component in the parts certificate and are therefore covered by the inspection.

Low when parked, compliant on the road

You adjust the ride height via air pressure while the car is stationary: aired out for a low stance, back to the approved ride height within the operating pressure stated in the parts certificate before you drive. For driveways and rough stretches the car can be raised while stationary; in that state the maximum speed is 50 km/h. Height adjustment while driving is not intended. Installation must be carried out by a specialist workshop, followed by a wheel alignment, a headlight adjustment check and the modification inspection.

Made for the Hyundai i30 N

According to the parts certificate the kit is designed for the Hyundai i30 N (type PDE), as hatchback and Fastback. The vehicle list shows which vehicles are covered.

Target Groups

What's Included

• 2× adjustable uniball top mounts Front axle
• 2× vehicle-specific shock absorbers Front axle
• 2× air springs with vehicle-specific mounts Front axle
• 2× black braided stainless air line Front axle
• 2× vehicle-specific shock absorbers Rear axle
• 2× air springs with vehicle-specific mounts Rear axle
• 4× air fitting of your choice (6 mm, 10 mm, 1/4", 3/8")
• Parts certificate (§19.3 StVZO) Document

Choose Your Air Management

To operate the air suspension you need an air management system with compressor, tank and valve control. Choose the air fitting to match your air management kit. The parts certificate requires a pressure gauge in the driver's field of view and an acoustic warning when the pressure leaves the operating range – please keep this in mind when choosing your system. You will find an overview under air management kits.
