Please check before ordering: This kit fits vehicles with a 50 mm front strut clamp diameter. The diameter cannot be determined reliably from model and engine – please measure it on the vehicle. A separate version is available for 55 mm.

Vehicles with electronically adjustable dampers (e.g. DCC) require a deactivation kit.

Air management not included – required separately

performance PRO - Air Suspension - VW Polo AW Platform - 50 mm

VW Polo AW VW T-Cross Seat Ibiza KJ Audi A1 GB

Complete air suspension kit with inverted monotube dampers for the VW Polo AW platform with a 50 mm strut clamp.

STREETEC performance PRO air suspension is built for drivers who want a car that sits low and still corners with a firm, composed feel. Inverted monotube dampers keep the wheels on line even under high cornering loads. When parked, the car can be lowered all the way down and raised back to the approved ride height before you drive off. The complete kit includes dampers and air springs for the front and rear axle and fits VW Polo AW platform vehicles with a 50 mm strut clamp.

Rigid dampers for clean turn-in

In an inverted (upside-down) damper the large outer tube sits at the top, so the damper barely flexes under side loads. The car follows your steering input without delay and stays settled through quick sequences of bends. The monotube design keeps damping consistent under load. Front and rear axle receive vehicle-specific shock absorbers matched to the air springs with their vehicle-specific mounts.

Low when parked, compliant on the road

You adjust the ride height via air pressure while the car is stationary: aired out for a low stance, back to the approved ride height within the operating pressure stated in the parts certificate before you drive. For driveways and rough stretches the car can be raised while stationary; in that state the maximum speed is 50 km/h. Height adjustment while driving is not intended. Installation must be carried out by a specialist workshop, followed by a wheel alignment, a headlight adjustment check and the modification inspection.

Made for the VW Polo AW platform

The kit is designed for VW Polo AW platform vehicles (MQB A0) with a 50 mm front strut clamp diameter – VW Polo AW, VW T-Cross, Seat Ibiza KJ and Audi A1 GB. Whether your car has a 50 mm or 55 mm strut clamp cannot be read reliably from model and engine – please measure it on the vehicle; a separate version is available for 55 mm. The vehicle list shows which vehicles are covered by the parts certificate.

Target Groups

Sporty drivers

You want a low car without giving up precise steering.

Daily drivers with stance

Low when parked, at the approved ride height on the road – and raised while stationary for driveways.

Shows & meets

The car sits low on display and drives home afterwards at the approved ride height with the same setup.

Switching from coilovers

You know firm setups and want to lower and raise your car while stationary as well.

Choose Your Air Management

To operate the air suspension you need an air management system with compressor, tank and valve control. Choose the air fitting to match your air management kit. The parts certificate requires a pressure gauge in the driver's field of view and an acoustic warning when the pressure leaves the operating range – please keep this in mind when choosing your system. You will find an overview under air management kits.

Fits: VW Polo AW and T-Cross, Seat Ibiza KJ and Audi A1 GB – each with a 50 mm strut clamp – according to the vehicle list. Low when parked, firm and composed in corners – with STREETEC performance PRO air suspension.
