The front protection bar is a structurally designed protective and load-bearing element for the vehicle front. It is manufactured from 63 mm thick corrosion-resistant stainless steel to absorb mechanical stresses during road use, worksite operation, or light off-road conditions. The design follows a clear functional principle: protect front body panels in low-energy impacts and contact with obstacles without affecting vehicle dimensions. The included type approval confirms road legality in conjunction with the vehicle’s original safety systems. Material and Construction

The primary material is high-grade corrosion-resistant stainless steel with a 63 mm tube diameter. The tube profile ensures high flexural and compressive stiffness with minimal weight addition. Fasteners are corrosion-resistant and mechanically stable to guarantee long-term function over many operating hours.

Function and Protective Effect

The protection bar acts as the first contact surface during low-energy front contacts such as on construction sites, during maneuvering, or on unpaved roads. It absorbs impacts, distributes forces into the vehicle structure, and reduces point loads on the bumper, headlights, and underbody. The geometric arrangement keeps the frontal area small and aerodynamic effects negligible.

Installation and Integration

Installation uses vehicle-specific mounting points on the Ford Transit / Tourneo Custom V710 frame. The expected installation time is approximately 45 minutes, and vehicle lifting is not mandatory but facilitates the process. The included PDC stickers deactivate the front parking sensors, while the rear sensors remain fully functional. It uses OEM attachment points and installs without cutting or welding.

Combination Options

The bar is compatible with additional protective components such as underbody guards and LED accessory lights, which can be integrated into the mounting system. Modular expansion allows the protective performance and functionality to adapt to specific use cases.
