Air suspension for vans, campers, and transporters – raise, lower, and level at will.

The 'offroad&camping' kits are vehicle-specific complete air suspension kits designed around the standard ride height. Not a lowering kit – but a system that makes ride height variable: raise for more ground clearance, lower for loading or boarding, level out uneven loads or find a flat pitch at the campsite.

Suitable for anyone who wants more from their van – whether camping off the beaten track, running a transporter with varying loads, or driving a vehicle with a full interior conversion.

Technology

Depending on the vehicle, the factory suspension is fully replaced – springs are swapped for air bellows, and in most cases new shock absorbers are fitted at the rear axle. The exact setup varies by platform: on the VW Crafter, for example, the leaf springs are replaced with trailing arms and a Panhard rod. The difference is noticeable in every case – especially under heavy load, where the factory suspension quickly reaches its limits.

Payload Upgrade

Our kits are tested to high axle load ratings. A payload upgrade is not automatically included, but is straightforward when the kit is installed by us in person. For certain vehicles – such as the Ford Transit Custom V710 – we are currently working to include a payload upgrade directly in the approval documentation.

Approval & Registration

All kits are supplied with the necessary approval documentation – either as a component certificate (Teilegutachten) under §19.3 StVZO, or as a Parts Type Approval (TTG) issued by the German Federal Motor Transport Authority (KBA). Registration with a technical inspection authority is straightforward in both cases.

Installation

We recommend installation by STREETEC or one of our partner workshops. An experienced mechanic with suspension knowledge can of course also install the kit independently. A wheel alignment check is recommended after installation.
