Includes parts certificate (§19.3 StVZO)
According to the parts certificate only for the saloon (model years 1966–1972).
Not for the W109 (300 SEL) – these cars have factory air suspension.
Max. front axle load: 1,035 kg | Max. rear axle load: 1,135 kg
Vehicles with electronically adjustable dampers (e.g. DCC) require a deactivation kit.
Air management not included – required separately
STREETEC performance air suspension combines a low stance with full everyday usability – low when parked, back to the
approved ride height before you drive off. Vehicle-specific twin-tube dampers and air springs for the front and rear
axle form a complete kit designed for the Mercedes-Benz S-Class W108 saloon.
Twin-tube dampers tuned for everyday driving
The vehicle-specific twin-tube dampers work together with the air springs as one matched unit. Short impacts and long
undulations are damped in a balanced way: the car stays settled on the motorway and easy to control on poor roads. The
setup is fixed for the specific vehicle, so there is nothing for you to set.
Low when parked, compliant on the road
You adjust the ride height via air pressure while the car is stationary: aired out for a low stance, back to the
approved ride height within the operating pressure stated in the parts certificate before you drive. For driveways and
rough stretches the car can be raised while stationary; in that state the maximum speed is 50 km/h. Height
adjustment while driving is not intended. Installation must be carried out by a specialist workshop, followed by a
wheel alignment, a headlight adjustment check and the modification inspection.
Made for the S-Class W108
The kit is designed for the Mercedes-Benz S-Class W108 saloon (1966–1972) – from the 250 S up to the 280 SE/SEL 3.5.
The W109 (300 SEL) has factory air suspension and is therefore not included, nor are coupé, convertible and fintail models.
The vehicle list shows which vehicles are covered.

Choose Your Air Management
To operate the air suspension you need an air management system with compressor, tank and valve control. Choose the
air fitting to match your air management kit. The parts certificate requires a pressure gauge in the driver's field of
view and an acoustic warning when the pressure leaves the operating range – please keep this in mind when choosing your
system. You will find an overview under air management kits.
Fits: Mercedes-Benz S-Class W108 saloon – according to the vehicle list.
